Read the PNE 2020 Impact Report
PNE are delighted to announce the publication of the 2020 Impact Report. In a year that challenged businesses unlike any other, the report captures both exciting pre-pandemic projects and innovative responses to its impact; spanning national start-up programmes, bespoke business support interventions, and youth enterprise competitions
We are proud of the impact we've been able to deliver in such a poignant year. As an organisation with a purpose to contribute to a thriving business landscape, 2020 has been a call to arms, and a reminder of the impact the right advice, training or networks can make to businesses, whether they are just starting out or have been successful for many years.
Tracey Moore, Executive Director
2020 was a year in which the PNE grew it’s support within North East communities, providing services to new groups through innovative projects and partnerships, including college students, refugee women, purpose-led business Founders, COVID impacted industries, and women experiencing unemployment as a result of the pandemic. Their stories and voices are shared throughout the Report, a reminder that the real impact of our work is for the individuals that access our support and their peers.
We were excited to discover that in 2020, we directly supported 748 individuals and 267 organisations with our services. We distributed £428K of client funding to VCSEs across the UK to deliver enterprise related projects in their communities and reached over 1,750 with online workshops.
