PNE's Maria Payumo recently had the pleasure of chatting with the lovely and upbeat Will writers from The Will Guys, Gill Hogg, Ella Baker, and Jenn Wilson.

The Will Guys is a family-owned business located in High Heaton, Newcastle Upon Tyne, that provides personalised will-writing services to cater to each client's unique needs. They communicate clearly and avoid using complex jargon to ensure total customer satisfaction. The team is dedicated to making their services accessible to everyone.

At The Will Guys, family and work-life balance are highly valued, which is why they offer a flexible work environment that enables their staff to manage their time according to their needs. This approach allows team members like Gill and Ella to run their own businesses while working and acquiring clients through personalised methods. Employees can even choose their ideal clients to ensure that their values and objectives align. Thanks to the company's strong brand and commitment to their clients, they have experienced significant growth. They have expanded from a small team of advisors to over 26 employees and are still growing. 

Gill and Ella, once teachers, are now established entrepreneurs and valuable members of The Will Guys team. They skillfully navigate the ups and downs of demand while continuously planning for the future and expanding their client base.

Gill is a Northern Lass Lounge member and received invaluable business assistance from PNE's Business Support Coordinator, Melissa Middleton, who helped her complete her self-assessment. Gill and Jane are focused on expanding their businesses and maintaining strong client relationships, while Ella is determined to earn her TEP diploma to enhance her qualifications and attract more clients.

When asked for advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, they all agreed that having the motivation and a solid plan and putting in 100% effort with the right mindset is crucial for success in the business world.
